Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
SimplyPO is a purchase order app for online stores on Shopify, Wix and Ecwid. It is made by Zapfor Apps, based in Malaysia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the SimplyPO app and this website (www.simplypo.com) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Our role
SimplyPO is used by store owners ("merchants"). When you install it, you choose to share data from your store with us so the app can work. For information about your customers that appears in your store's orders, you are in control of that data and we process it only on your behalf and on your instructions — to provide the app.
Information we collect
From your store, when you install SimplyPO
With the permissions you approve during installation, we read the following from your store platform:
- Store details — store name, owner email address, store URL, currency, timezone, and your SimplyPO subscription and trial status.
- Products — product and variant names, SKUs, prices and cost prices, stock levels and inventory locations.
- Orders — order numbers, items, quantities, totals, payment and fulfilment status, and the customer details on each order: name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address. When you first install, we import orders from the last 60 days; after that, new and updated orders.
- An access token issued by your store platform, which lets SimplyPO read this data and update stock levels in your store when you receive goods.
Information you enter in SimplyPO
- Suppliers — names, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses.
- Purchase orders and inventory receipts — items, quantities, costs, taxes, notes and the billing and shipping addresses on each order.
- Your business details — company name, contact details and addresses used on purchase orders.
- Settings such as payment terms and purchase order numbering.
Technical information
- The app uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, time and the page requested) to run and secure the service.
On this website
www.simplypo.com uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed, the type of device and browser, and approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on.
How we use information
We use the information above only to provide and support SimplyPO:
- to show your products and orders in the app and turn orders into purchase orders;
- to create purchase order PDFs for you to download and send to your suppliers;
- to update stock levels in your store when you record received goods;
- to check your subscription status with your store platform;
- to answer your support requests, and to keep the service secure and working properly.
We do not sell your information or your customers' information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not contact your customers. SimplyPO does not send email to your suppliers or customers.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers we need to run SimplyPO, and only for that purpose:
- Fly.io — hosts the SimplyPO app servers (United States).
- Amazon Web Services — hosts the SimplyPO database (United States).
- Google — Google Analytics on this website only, not in the app.
SimplyPO also exchanges data with the store platform you installed it from (Shopify, Wix or Ecwid), through that platform's official API — for example, to read new orders or to update stock. Subscription billing is handled by that platform; we never receive your card or bank details.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a new owner if SimplyPO is sold or merged, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored and processed in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your data is transferred there so we can provide the service.
If you are in Europe or the UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process merchants' information to provide SimplyPO under our agreement with you — the terms you accept when you install the app — and, for things like keeping the service secure and answering support requests, for our legitimate interests in running SimplyPO. Information about your customers is processed on your behalf, as described in "Our role" above.
Your information is transferred to and stored in the United States, outside Europe. Under data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your information, and to object to how we use it — email us to do so. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep it
We keep your store's data for as long as SimplyPO is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, your store platform notifies us and we automatically delete your store and all of its data from our database — products, orders, suppliers, purchase orders and settings.
Your rights and requests
Merchants: you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about your store, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@zapfor.com. Uninstalling SimplyPO also deletes everything, as described above.
Your customers: if you bought from a store that uses SimplyPO, please contact that store first — it controls your information. We also act on data access and deletion requests that store platforms forward to us on a store's behalf (such as GDPR requests).
Security
All traffic to SimplyPO and this website is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to the systems that hold your data is limited to the SimplyPO team, and store access tokens are used only to call your store platform's API. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
SimplyPO is a business tool for store owners. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and if the changes are significant we will let merchants know in the app or by email.
